Abdominal wall surgery (with or without 3D lipo)
Surgery of the anterior abdominal wall is recommended when the skin of the abdomen has lost its elasticity after significant weight loss or because of stretch marks formed during pregnancy, and also after childbirth, when the shape of the abdomen has become unattractive and the skin sags. Bear in mind that after the operation you need to keep yourself in good physical shape with regular exercise. In some cases abdominal wall surgery is combined with a 3D lipo procedure to give the abdomen a more pronounced hourglass shape.
Depending on its extent, the operation takes 1.5–3 hours under general anaesthesia.
During the operation the excess skin is removed, the skin of the abdomen is tightened and the muscles of the abdominal wall are strengthened. The incision is made in an arc in the lower abdomen. After the operation you stay at the clinic for 24 hours and wear a special compression garment for about a month.
