Consultations at Dr. Kaspars Feldman take place on Tuesdays and Fridays. During the consultation, the doctor will assess the condition of the eyelids, discuss your wishes, explain the course of the procedure, the expected outcome, and agree jointly on the date and time of the procedure. - Preparing for an procedure
Health checks are required before surgery. The test results should not be more than 2 weeks old.
Necessary analyses:
Full blood count;
Hepatitis B test
Hepatitis C test
HIV test. - What to bring to the procedure?
Please carry with you:
a passport or ID card;
the test results in printed form;
comfortable and free clothing;
slippers. - Day of procedure
For safe procedure, please follow the following instructions:
not eat at least 6 hours before surgery;
do not drink for at least 2 hours prior to surgery;
arrive without cosmetics;
surgery in the morning do not use facial care creams and oils.
After surgery, you will remain in the clinic under medical supervision until you fully recover from anaesthesia. You can go home the same day. - Recovery
When you go home, you will receive an extract with detailed recommendations on postoperative period and sparing mode.
After surgery:
wear sunglasses when going outdoors to protect your eyes from the sun and wind;
Use eye drops recommended by the clinic specialist.
Follow your doctor’s instructions on wound care and limitation of physical activity.
After 7 days, come to the clinic for a control visit, during which the threads will be removed and the healing process evaluated.
